[April Marie Phaneuf-Biqiku, known affectionately as April to all, lived her life with the kind of humor and spirit that could light up the darkest of rooms. She passed away surrounded by the love of her family, leaving behind a legacy of laughter and compassion that will be cherished forever by those who knew her.
Born to the late Julieanne Phaneuf and Charles H Phaneuf II, April grew up in a household that appreciated the lighter side of life. Her radiant personality was a beacon of joy for her siblings, David, Samantha, and Charles H Phaneuf III. April's laughter was a symphony that played beautifully in the hearts of her family, including her adoring husband, Ilir Biqiku; her respected brother-in-law, Andi Biqiku and her caring in-laws, Dituri and Janaq Biqiku; and her beloved nephews and nieces, Peyton, Bailey, Landon, Julian and Jazzlynn Phaneuf.
After graduating from Masconomet in 2011, April pursued her passion for understanding the human psyche by delving into the study of Criminology at North Shore Community College. Her academic journey was not just about books, but about the people she met and the lives she touched with her innate ability to make anyone smile.
April's professional life was as flavorful as the pizzas at Giovanni's Lynn MA, the pizza shop she co-owned with her husband, Ilir. Working side by side, they kneaded dough and shared laughs, creating not just a business, but a community hub where warmth and good humor were always on the menu.
A devout Christian, April lived her faith through actions, spreading kindness like confetti wherever she went. Her heart, however, belonged to her two Dobermans, Zemra and Venga. To say she loved her dogs would be an understatement; they were her furry children, her protectors, and the recipients of her endless affection.
April was the epitome of funny, friendly, and spirited. April had a passion for travel. She traveled the world with her husband. Including Iceland, Turkey, Oslo, and Italy. Iceland was her favorite especially the northern lights. She also loved the cruises she went on.
Her absence leaves a void that can never be filled, but her memory will continue to inspire laughter and love in all who were fortunate enough to know her. April Marie Phaneuf-Biqiku, our beloved comedian at heart, may have exited the stage of life, but her punchlines and the echoes of her laughter will remain with us forever.
