Ann M. Gill

Ann M. Gill, age 88, of Somerville, passed away on March 25, 2022 surrounded by her family. She was a graduate of Somerville High School in 1952 and the devoted wife of the late Hugh Gill and mother of the late John Gill. Survived by her children Hugh Gill Jr. of Somerville, Patricia Manning and her late husband Robert Manning of Peabody, Kathleen Bazazi and her husband Kam Bazazi of Middleton and 10 grandchildren.

Ann was a long-time member of St. Clement Parish in Medford, proud participant in the Mother’s Club and a PTA president in the city’s school system. She enjoyed reading, watching Red Sox games on television and spending time with family. Ann worked for Stoneham Webster and the Central Hospital in Somerville, among various other jobs throughout her life before retiring in 1991.

Visitation will be held on Monday, March 28 from 4:30-8:00 p.m. at Mackey Funeral Home with a funeral mass on Tuesday, March 29 at St. Agnes Parish, beginning at 10:30 a.m., with the burial to follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Medford.
