A. Marie Wakefield Obituary

A. Marie Wakefield, passed away peacefully on September 20, 2020. Marie grew up in Malden Massachusetts. She married Dawson Wakefield and moved to San Antonio Texas. They had a wonderful 28 years in Texas where Marie worked in the insurance industry, retiring as Executive VP with USAA. After retiring Marie and Dawson lived in Nova Scotia. Marie then moved to Brooksby Village, Peabody MA and was very active in Brooksby life and made many dear friends there. Marie loved and enjoyed many projects and activities at Brooksby. She truly brought great professionalism to Brooksby Community Television.
Marie is survived by her brother Edward Flaherty (Jessica), sister Alice Profenna (Vincent), Sister Eileen Moriarity, nephews Joseph (Donna), Vincent (Sue), Barbara Dohaney (Michael) and family. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Eileen (Nickerson) Flaherty.

A private Memorial and burial will be held Thursday, September 24, 2020
