Elias J.
Mackey, a lifelong resident of Danvers graduated from
the former New England Institute of Anatomy & Science of
Boston in 1949. A veteran of WWII he served with the US Marine Corps. He has been licensed to practice
funeral service for over 50 years. Elias is active in the community as
a communicant of St. Mary of the Annunciation parish, and as a
member of the V.F.W., Knights of Columbus, and the Danvers Rotary
Club. Elias is married to Edith (Turenne) Mackey and has five sons.
Vincent, Timothy, Jeffrey, Kenneth and Daniel.
Daniel E. Mackey graduated from The University of Lowell in 1985 and later from
New England Institute at Mount IDA College in Newton in 1994. A member of the
phi Theta Kappa National Honor Society at NEI, he has been licensed to practice
funeral service since 1994. Dan is also active in the community; A communicant
of St. Mary of The Annunciation church, and a member of the Danvers Rotary &
Touchdown clubs. Also, he served as Grand Knight for the Thomas E. Power Council
Knights of Columbus 1505, 2000-2001. Dan is married to Krista (McCarthy) Mackey
and has two children Brendan and Sean.
James
G. Sampsonis joined the Mackey Funeral
Home in 2001
as a full time director. Jim has been a resident
of Peabody most of his life and is active with the
Jordan Lodge A.M. & F.M., Peabody Kiwanis, St.
Vasilios Greek Orthodox Church and Men's Club. Jim
has been active in Funeral services for over 25
